Expression of interest 2019 National Veterans

TTSA is seeking Expression of Interest from eligible players for consideration in the Veteran teams who have met the criteria for state selection as contained in the State Team Regulations [extract below] (or received an exemption as approved by the Board of TTSA).  

“….have participated in at least half of all relevant tournaments to be eligible for Veteran’s team selection.” (which includes the State titles.)

If you meet the criteria and you are interested in representing South Australia in the Veteran State Teams, please complete the attached Expression of Interest form and return to the 2019 State Veterans Team Manager, Mrs Cynthia Langley by Sunday 14th July 2019.

In accordance with the State Team Regulations, and performances throughout the year, the following players have been selected in the South Australian State Junior Team to compete at the 2019 Australian Junior Table Tennis Championships. With over 200 participants, the Australian Junior Table Tennis Championships promises to be a great event and I know your contribution will do the whole South Australian Table Tennis community proud.  Attached as Attachment A is the SA Junior Teams.TTSA, and the Table Tennis community wishes you every success at the Championships and looks forward to supporting you at the event!

Travel assistance for country juniors

Travel assistance for country juniors

The Country Table Tennis Committee (CTTC) would like to offer to country Juniors $100 to contribute towards travel / accommodation to any state event, including state training.

A Junior can claim for one such event in 2018 and one in 2019.

It is also understood that there are a couple of para players participation in international events. CTTC would also like to offer $100 to those players, for participating in such an event.

2019 State Coaches, Team Managers and State Selectors

Nominations are being sought for the positions of State Coach, Team Managers and State Selectors for the following events:

  • National Senior and Youth Championships: 8-13 April, Latrobe Churchill, Victoria
  • National Junior Championships: 7-13 July, Wollongong, NSW
  • National Veterans Championships – 12 – 19 October2019

Coaching Scholarships Available – 2019 National Hopes Weeks

TTA is pleased to announce that we will be offering up to two scholarships worth $750 each for coaches to attend the 2019 National Hopes Week, to be hosted by Loops Table Tennis in Melbourne from 21-25 January 2019.

Benefits of the scholarships include:

Working with John Murphy, TTA National Head Coach (Able-Bodied) and Patrick Wuertz, ITTF-Oceania High Performance Officer, for the duration of the event.
