Dear Table Tennis Friends,

We are at the now at the pointy end of the season with the state junior teams and veterans teams competing in Sydney and Hobart respectively over the coming months.  The teams have been working really hard and the coaches and officials of the teams are very proud of the every single player.  Regardless of the results I am sure the support of the TT community will be behind every player and team!  Good luck to all of the athletes!

The winter competitions across the state have now finished, congratulations to all the winners! If you have any photos of your winter comps please send them through – TTSA wants to create a dossier and publish photos through all of our communication channels to promote the sport in the metropolitan and regional areas!

The country tournaments have also now concluded with a fantastic Murray Bridge event with record numbers and over 450 matches played over the weekend – I encourage you to spread the word for these events for next year – they are great fun and a great way to meet your fellow competitors.

The TTSA Presentation Evening has been held with positive feedback received from attendees – this year we did a few things differently – had a slide show of various events through the year on display, a MC running the night as well as a private room with only TT people in attendance….. it was a great night and something that we will build on next year.  Congratulations to all of the winners of all of the awards….

Once again, feedback from Table Talk continues to be fantastic, please circulate Table Talk far and wide to all of your members and non-members.

Work continues on the new website, with an initial draft completed, it looks fantastic, much more contemporary and adoptable to both all types of devices eg. Laptop, tablet or mobile!  Stay tuned for the release over the coming months!

The Constitutional Sub-Committee continues to meet and is working though the proposed changes with the intent to release a consultation paper to all affiliates and life members over the coming months.

In relation to the previously advised funding opportunities provided through Table Tennis Australia (TTA), three (3) affiliates took up the opportunity to apply – which was fantastic!

As always, if you have any feedback or questions please send them through.

STOP PRESS: National juniors have completed with some excellent results from our up and coming stars – stay tuned for an update in the next edition of Table Talk to be released in November as an end of season wrap!
