2026 Primary Schools Table Tennis 4-a-side Team Championships
Event information
The 2026 Primary Schools (Yr. 4,5,6) Table Tennis 4-a-side Team Championship scheduled for the 31st July 2026.
VENUES:
One date will be set for this Competition which will be held in different locations.
It will depend on how many schools enter and depending on the number of teams nominated. These will be held at table tennis centres, located in the metropolitan area at Newton, Woodville, Southern plus a country centre at Murray Bridge.
ENTRY FEE: Entry Fee to be advised (no GST payable)
ENTRIES CLOSE: Wednesday 22nd July 2026
TEAMS: Can consist of either all BOYS, all GIRLS or a MIXED team consisting of at least 1 boy or 1 girl minimum. Players to be ranked by the school in order of merit
Schools can enter a maximum of 5 boys teams and/or 5 girl’s teams and/or 5 mixed teams. However please note that 1 supervisor/parent must be in attendance for every 2 teams entered. (1:2 Ratio)
FORMAT:
1) A team shall consist of 4 players ranked in order of merit and each player will play the corresponding number in the opposition team. If there are 5 players in a team, the 4th and 5th player can rotate.
2) A match will consist of best of three, 11 points (advantage) games, with two serves each alternating. (Both doubles and singles).
3) Medallions will be awarded to the players winning in each of the Venues.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Centres will be supervised by Table Tennis SA Officials.
After entries have closed, an email will be sent to participating schools advising them of the confirmation of venue and details. Other relevant information will be attached.
STUDENT SUPERVISION:
Table Tennis SA understands that your school will follow appropriate procedures for taking students on an excursion, as set out by your school and its governing education department, including completion of relevant permission forms.
To commence matches, one double and one single may be played, to assist with the umpiring of matches. The players shall umpire the singles matches with the assistance from the Supervisor.
COVID-19 Conditions: Players and patrons are not to enter the stadium if unwell or have cold / flu like symptoms
