 TTSA Winter Pennant Players Cup
 

Winter Pennant players are invited to take part in the Players Cup the week before the finals start!

What is it? Every division will have its own knockout tournament, capped at 32 players each

When? Monday August 29th and Tuesday August 30th from 7:30pm sharp

Where?
      State League and Division 6 at Brighton TTC (Tuesday)

      – Division 2 and Smash Hit at Adelaide TTC (Tuesday)

      – Division 4 and Division 8 at Woodville TTC (Tuesday)

      – Division 1 at Payneham TTA (Monday)

      – Division 5 at East Adelaide TTC (Monday)

      – Division 3 and Division 7 at Woodville TTC (Monday)

Cost? – Free for all Winter players (only nominated players may play, not reserves)

Players may only register for the Players Cup of the division that they play in however, if there are

spots available one division above, players from the division below may also nominate to play in that

Players Cup too with spots allocated to the best players based upon their Winter Pennant results.

Players who nominate for the division above will be advised if their nomination has been successful.

THURSDAY AUGUST 25TH. Please indicate whether you only wish to register for your own division OR

if you would also like to be placed on the top up list should spots be available (entry only guaranteed

for your regular division). Late entries will not be accepted.
 

 

The Players Cup shall be held in accordance with the - General Conditions of Tournament Entry -

Table Tennis South Australia (tabletennissa.org.au). Please note the following

- 40+mm 3-Star DHS Seamed Plastic White balls will be used

- Club uniform to be worn

- All matches are best of 5 games to 11 points with winner to progress to next round

- The top 8 players as per Winter results will be seeded

- Players not present at 7:30pm will forfeit if their first match is called

- Volunteer umpires will be required for the first matches, after which the losing player

on each table will umpire the following match

- Due to time constraints round robin groups will not be used, therefore players who lose

in the first round will only play one match

- Winning players will be recognised on Super Saturday

- COVID-19 is still present in the community and players and patrons should not enter the

stadium if unwell or have cold / flu like symptoms
