2021 State Open & Junior Championships

The Championships held on the weekend of 8th & 9th May were a huge success. There were 57 matches played on the Saturday & a huge 156 matches played on the Sunday. Some great table tennis played, excellent performances and some new Champions'

National Hopes Challenge - Medals Success

Congratulations to the SA junior players who relocated to Victoria for a few days to participate in the National Hopes training and challenge. It was great to see you in action back here in SA through live streaming. Especially well done to Hadrian and Lawrence for winning gold and bronze respectively in the Mini Hopes challenge.

Invitation for Hopes Players

Hopes players are those juniors born in 2009 or later. This is an invitation to spend the weekend with National Australian Head Coach Mr John Murphy.

Ratings Central Update

It is planned that on the 1st January 2021 a script will be run over the initial prior (initial rating) of players in Australia on Ratings Central which will result in the rating of players changing. This will, on average, increase all ratings in Australia by up to 200 points. This change will apply to near 17,000 players in Australia.

Call for Nominations - TTSA Board

The 2021 Annual General Meeting of Table Tennis South Australia (‘TTSA’) will be held on Sunday 14th March 2021 at Sport SA, Military Road West Beach, commencing at 11:00am.

Upcoming TOPS Coaching Course

Kay Crowell, TTSA Coaching Director, will be conducting a Tops Course at the East Adelaide Club on Saturday, 5th December 2020

Murray Bridge Tournament - CANCELLED

The Murray Bridge Tournament has now been cancelled due to the coronavirus. The tournament was to be held over the weekend of 10th to 11th October 2020

New Look Website

TTSA now has a new look website with new features which is run through revolutioniseSPORT.

STATE UMPIRES COURSE - SUNDAY, AUGUST 16th, 2020

This is a training course to be held at the Maid of Auckland Hotel on the table tennis rules to enable the State Officiating Level examination to be undertaken. Assistance and mentoring will be provided to assist participants in undertaking the course and examination.

Return to Table Tennis from Monday 1st June 2020

It's great news that table tennis may re-commence from 1st June 2020, albeit with limitations. However, before a Club or Association may resume they must complete a COVID-Safe Plan with the Office for Sport, Recreation and Racing.
